Tell me there is some kinda way outta here.
All along the watchtower,
princess kept the view,
while all the women came and went,
barefoot servants too.

Hello all. First post.

Portrait of a man, without his usual pretense.

You see, Rene (or Bruce, his given name) is/was a drag queen. He was constantly acting very femme and shallow. This was taken "on a break" at the location shoot. I thought that he looked particularly male and quite pensive, the antithesis of his desired image.

Because I'm a loser and haven't really picked up the camera since we moved here nearly two years ago. And I know it needs some work with contrast or something (might just be my monitor, but something about it is bugging me).. but here it is.. click the pic for the bigger version

No, if you're only seeing this, nothing's been posted here yet. So. Join, post. Equipment discussions, location discussion, scene and setup topics, all are kosher. Posting images, well. Of course that's acceptable. Family pictures, pictures from barbeques, pictures of your feet after a long day at work. Yea. Not quite what the target goal is here.

Large images behind cut please, and when you post, post with tough skin on. People do make commentaries, sometimes positive, sometimes critical. We all need to take criticism to perfect our art sometimes.

And. Photography is so art. So shut it. heh.
